Start of the Holidays.

Oh man I just love this time of year. Warm rich fall colors, crisp sunny fall afternoons, scarves, boots, and jackets. This weekend Pete, Lola, Punkin, and I went to Pullman to visit my Family. My sister Annie was also home from Omak. It was one of those wonderful times with family. We loved being home and having the house full of family and laughter. I came home feeling so refreshed. The Holidays are here!!

A Promise

I feel the pull to depression and defeat, the temptation to give up, the desire to stop pushing most when I am really starting to have breakthroughs in my life. I know this seems backward but it seems to be that way. BUT I am choosing to keep my eyes on the Lord and let him fight these battles with me. This song by Hillsong United, Never Let Me Go was my encouragement today. Oh God you are so mighty, the way you comfort me! Your promise to never let me go.  BE ENCOURAGED!

In the shadows; My spirit weak
Love broke through the darkness and lifted me
And I know you’ll never let me go

In the storm in the raging sea
Love conquered the fear and delivered me
And I know you’ll never let me go

Oh love in the shadows
Be the light who leads me on
You’re love I will follow
Be my guide, You’re will be done
Oh Lord

In the arms of the One unseen
Love carried the cross that was meant for me
And I know you’ll never let me go

Oh love in the shadows
Be the light who leads me on
You’re love I will follow
Be my guide, You’re will be done

Oh Lord I surrender, now forever I’ll be loved
In the love of the Father, You are faithful You are strong
So hold me now, hold me now, hold me now

Nothing in this life has walked these streets
Love opened my eyes show me what You see
And I know I’ll never let You go.

I remember Psalm 23, it is one of those verses that I have hidden away in my heart, chosen to say it and trust it always.

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,[a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
 forever.

Amen…

Puppy Dawgs

Some of you may know that my Mother and Father in-law are in Africa for a month, doing mission work. So proud of them doing this hard work. They are such great in-laws, and incredible examples to all us kids. Susan has a beautiful Bulldog that could not go to Africa, so we are Punkin’s new family for the month. Lola was not quite so sure about Sharing Peter and I at first but she’s taking a liking to Punkin. The Doggies were very good today. Even started to snooze together for once.

Gotta love that pair of squished nose Pups!

Liz’s Shower!!!

Yay!!! A few weeks ago me and my friend Shelley threw a Bridal Shower for our dear friend Liz. She is getting married this Saturday. I have to admit I didn’t take many of these photos. All the ones I took of the decorations got lost when I transfered cards..So SAD, cause the decor was so CUTE! Sigh, at least it wasnt anything for a client! But glad I have these few, its nice to have so many photo friends who know how to use my camera!

Here we are with Liz, the beautiful bride in the awesome pink, she matched the shower great! The only bridesmaid we are missing is Sara. So glad everyone had a great time.Ya can’t have a bridal shower without the infamous toilet paper bride game! It was a good time had by all. Lots of laughs and new memories made.Liz and the beautiful Mother of the Bride. You two are so cute. Just love ya! See you all this weekend for the big day!
